General questions

Do you offer free quotes?
Yes. We visit your home, discuss your plans and provide a free, written and itemised quote with no obligation.
What does “turnkey” mean?
It means we manage the entire project — design input, structural works, every trade and the final finishes — and hand your home back clean and ready to use. You deal with one project manager, not multiple contractors.
Which areas do you cover?
We work across all Dublin postcodes and county areas, and regularly take on projects in Kildare, Wicklow and Meath.
Are you insured?
Yes. We carry full public liability and employer liability insurance, and certificates are available on request.
How long does a typical project take?
A bathroom usually takes 2–3 weeks, a kitchen 3–5 weeks, an attic conversion 4–6 weeks and an extension 10–16 weeks depending on size. We give you a written programme before we begin.
Can I stay in my home during the works?
In most cases, yes. We seal off work areas, control dust and plan the programme so essential rooms stay usable. For whole-house renovations we will advise honestly if moving out for part of the project is easier.

Bathroom Renovation

Do you supply the tiles and fittings?
We can supply everything, or install items you have chosen yourself. We are happy to recommend suppliers and help you select products that suit your budget.

Attic Conversions

Is my attic suitable for conversion?
It depends on head height, roof structure and stair access. We survey the space and advise whether a roof-light or dormer conversion is possible and what it will involve.

Home Extensions

Do I need planning permission for an extension?
Many rear extensions up to 40 m² can be built as exempted development, provided they meet specific conditions. Larger, side or two-storey extensions usually need planning permission. We will explain where your project stands at the first visit.

Wall Panelling

Can wall panelling go in a rented or older property?
Yes. Panelling can be fixed to most walls, including older plaster. We check for damp and level issues first and recommend the most suitable fixing method.

New House Builds

Do you build to A-rated / NZEB standard?
Yes. Our new builds are designed to meet NZEB requirements, with high insulation levels, airtightness testing, heat pumps and mechanical ventilation.

Kitchen Renovation

Can you combine a kitchen renovation with an extension?
Absolutely — it is one of our most popular projects. Using one team for both saves time and ensures the design flows from the extension into the kitchen.

Shower Installation

Which type of shower is best for my home?
It depends on your hot water system and water pressure. Electric showers suit most ensuites, while mixer or pumped showers suit homes with a strong hot water supply. We check your system and recommend the best option.

Home Spa Creation

What do I need for a home sauna or steam room?
Mainly space, a suitable electrical supply and good ventilation. We design the vapour control, electrics and drainage to make sure it is safe and long-lasting.
